Yahoo Music Jukebox and Vista

Vista's autotuninglevel Vista has a new feature called autotuning that adjusts the TCP window size automatically. If you use an application that streams content over TCP/IP and it suddenly stops working after a few days of use this feature may be the culprit. Turn it off Turns out the solution is to turn off this new feature using the command shell. Use the start menu and Select Run..., then type: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled If you don't like to type you can just use the first three letters for the parameters netsh int tcp set glo aut=dis You can set it back to normal with netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal Reference: Steve Riley Post

Thanks Tom, after many frustrating hours on the phone with Yahoo support, this fixed the issue in minutes. One thing to note is that the users acccount that is making the change must have "account control" turned off in their profile or the change won't happen. This is turn of via control panel/ user accounts.

Thanks again John
